Joint Operational Access Concept

The Joint Staff has approved a new Joint Operational Access Concept, which looks as if it's part of the military's effort to flesh out Air-Sea Battle. Anti-access and denied areas, two key ideas here, are traditionally associated with operating in and around China. While not "aimed" at China, this document certainly manifests a keen awareness of China's strategic importance, if nothing else.
